Assessment · NDIS

Psychology assessments for your NDIS plan.

Clear evidence, in reports the NDIS can actually work with.

Many participants need a psychological assessment to request access, document the impact of a disability, or inform a plan reassessment. Wiser Minds provides ADHD, autism and cognitive assessment, with reports written with the NDIS in mind, for self-managed and plan-managed participants. Andrew helps you work out which assessment you actually need on a free call.

How funding works

Using your NDIS funding for assessment

Wiser Minds works with self-managed and plan-managed participants. If you are self-managed, you arrange and claim the assessment yourself. If you are plan-managed, your plan manager settles the invoice on your behalf. Andrew can talk through how your particular funding can be used before anything is locked in.

Andrew confirms the fee and what your funding covers on the free call, so there are no surprises.

What the report supports

Common questions

Before you enquire

Can I use my NDIS funding for a psychology assessment?+

Wiser Minds works with self-managed and plan-managed participants. If you are self-managed you arrange and claim the assessment yourself; if you are plan-managed your plan manager settles the invoice. We confirm how your funding applies on a free call before anything is locked in.

Which assessment do I need for my NDIS plan?+

It depends on your goals and what your plan is asking for. ADHD, autism and cognitive assessment each serve different purposes, and working out which one fits is one of the first things we do together on the free call.

How long does the report take?+

A clear, structured report is generally ready within 2 to 4 weeks after the assessment is complete and required information has been received. It is written with the referral question and NDIS requirements in mind.

Can the cognitive assessment be done by video?+

No. Cognitive and intellectual assessment uses standardised, hands-on tasks, so it is completed in person. ADHD and autism assessment can be completed by secure video.
